Subject: Call For Service
Question: I got a ’Call For Service’ message on my machine. What do I do?
Answer: If the machine continues to run, it is telling you that a developer change is called for. First check to see if you have developer on hand. (If it is a Sharp copier the developer comes in a silver foil bag. If it is a Kyocera, it is in a bottle.) Then call the DocuSource CIC, we will schedule a service call and order developer if you need it.

If the machine will not print or copy, you should also see an error code like H5, F1, etc. Try turning the machine off, wait 60 seconds and then turn it back on. If this fails to clear the code, call the DocuSource CIC and we will schedule a technician to come out.

Subject: Clearing Toner Counters
Question: How can I clear the toner counter on my machine?
Answer: FO-2950 SERIES: HIT FUNCTION, 9, #, #, THE MACHINE SHOULD THEN SAY CLEAR TONER COUNT-PRESS START. FO-5800 SERIES: FLIP UP THE PLASTIC PIECE ABOVE THE # KEYS, HIT THE LIFE (V) KEY, HIT THE # 2 (DRUM LIFE=#3)THEN PRESS START.
